About
Mimi Hutchinson, AICP
I’m an urban planner, designer and researcher based in Austin, Texas. Currently pursuing a PhD in Community and Regional Planning at the University of Texas at Austin, I earned my master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2021. I’ve also worked full-time as a transportation planner at an MPO and as a researcher for a Chicago-based nonprofit organization. In my free time, I enjoy urban hikes, creating handmade cards to send to friends and family, watching Illinois basketball, and keeping up with the news.
